21B Specialty IPA is the correct style, per the BJCP’s provisional guidelines (http://dev.bjcp.org/beer-styles/21b-specialty-ipa-new-england-ipa/). Our head judge requests that under 21B the brewer enter a statement about the beer, defining what variety of specialty IPA the recipe is, and in this case "NE IPA" is appropriate. Thank you!

Lagers are definitely accepted! Anything that displays hops in all their glory would be awesome. Please note that we will be judging to BJCP guidelines so make sure to align your entry accordingly!
