A NEW KIND OF CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

In it’s second year the Christmas Craft Beer Show in Victoria BC at the Save-on Foods Memorial Centre is already establishing itself as the unofficial launch of the Holiday Season for Island beer lovers.
Although the inaugural year had a few hiccups, I am confident that in 2017 the bugs will be worked out and the event will draw more patrons than predicted. We are now three months out from the best beer fest in western Canada (GCBF) which is held annually for 25 years now, just a quick walk up the street from this Christmas event. Us BC beer lovers are itching to sample the best in winter beers that BC has to offer and this is the place to do it. With over 45 breweries and cideries participating this year everyone is bound to find something they love and will seek-out when shopping for their holiday beers.
The sampling has been split into either Fri or Sat from 5 pm on Friday and 1 pm Saturday. Tickets are still available at the door for 40 bucks all in for either day or 70 for a weekend pass.
When the events are done and Sunday morning is upon you already….head on down to Swans Hotel to support the food-raising efforts of the Victoria Odd Fellows Society in your Pajamas…..sponsored by the fine folks at Left Coast Brands and Events, the breweries of Port Moody BC and hosted by 2 of Victoria’s coolest DJ’s Degree One and Jules Uno this event was tailor made for the Sunday hang-over cures…..I mean….they have breakfast Poutine and Caesars….what’s not to like? Don’t forget to bring a nonperishable food item for someone not as fortunate this holiday season. See you there!
